The Association’s Activities
Jungian Analytical Training is based on the application and approach of the analytical methodology developed by C.G.Jung.It is implemented in accordance with the training system of the Jung Institute in Küsnacht. Besides therapeutic practice it deals with the personality development of healthy people and provides a conceptual bridge for the different forms of spirituality. During the training, in addition to academic seminars, great emphasis is placed on analytical self-experience training, through which the candidate gets to know, in theory as well as in practice, the symbol system of the archetypes of the collective unconscious, and the path and characteristic stages of individuation. Students learn about Jung’s Active Imagination method. Besides Jungian dream-interpretation the course on the theory of archetypes relies strongly on the analysis of tales, myths and other universal symbols.
The Association takes part in the training of psychiatrists, psychologists and interdisciplinary specialists. It also arranges thematic courses about Jungian psychology for all those who enquire. It presents and spreads Jung’s ideas, holds courses, trainings, and conferences, and publishes professional writings. The Association’s specialists are available for individual or group therapy work, as well as counseling. Since 1991, the Association has organized annual conferences and holds professional consultations every four weeks. From this year on, two one-day conferences will be organized each year, with the conferences’ material published by the Association. The Association’s monthly professional-days and referral seminars are free for anyone interested to attend. At these sessions, selected works on Jungian psychology are reviewed and discussed, and day-to-day matters are dealt with.
